Our organization's most valued asset is our staff and we are always looking for new talent to add to our team of Youth Development Professionals. We believe that working with youth through camps should be a positive growth experience for both the campers and the staff. If you are looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children and are ready to develop and build on your strengths as a leader, then we would like to meet you.   Volunteer 

Do you have a skill or hobby that you would like to share with our kids? Are you interested in tutoring and homework assistance? We are always looking for ambitious people who are looking to share their skills and spend time with our youth. Whether you are looking for volunteer hours or just trying to stay busy, we would love for you to join us.

Requirements and Information for Volunteers

  • All volunteers must complete a Department of Justice screening through the City of Mission Viejo.

  • You need to understand and exemplify the character qualities we value at Outta Bounds Events.

  Summer Camp Counselor 

Our counselors are the most important component of our program. They are creative, energetic and mature leaders. Outta Bounds Events counselors are responsible for the planning and execution of daily center activities, as well as, the implementation of group's trips and themed days. This job can be incredibly rewarding but requires more commitment, patients and energy than the average summer position. If you're up to the challenge, we'd love to have you on staff.

Requirements and Information for Summer Camp 2010 Counselors

  • You need to be available to work from 8AM to 5PM, Monday - Friday from June 28th to August 20.

  • Being available to work from August 23rd to Sept. 3rd is great, but not required.

  • There is a mandatory online staff training program that must be completed before June 18th.

  • Early Childhood Education units are a plus, but not required.

  • You need to be able to set goals and be driven to improve your leadership skills.

  • CPR and first aid training are a plus, and can be provided.

  • You must be willing to live without your cell phone for hours at a time.

  • You need to understand and exemplify the character qualities we value at Outta Bounds Events.

  • Qualified applicants will be called and interviewed throughout the months of May and June.

  • Interviewed applicants may be ask to attend a group interview.

Outta Bounds Events Counselor Application

 

  Counselor in Training Program (C.I.T.) 

Our CIT program is designed to provide youth, ages 14 to 16, a combination of work experience and summer fun. Duties include assisting counselors with activities and groups, preparing for trips and themed days, organizing and maintaining the center, being a positive example to the campers and anything else that will help make a great summer for our kids. This is not a paid position but we have been known to reward our C.I.T.s throughout the summer with surprises and special activities.

Requirements and Information for Summer Camp 2010 CIT Program

  • You need to apply and be accepted to participate in the program.

  • Qualified applicants will be called and interviewed throughout the months of May and June.

  • Interviewed applicants may be ask to attend a group interview or one of our events.

  • If accepted, you must commit to at least three days a week for 5 or more weeks of the summer.

  • You need to understand and exemplify the character qualities we value at Outta Bounds Events.

  • There is a mandatory CIT staff training on Saturday, June 19th.

  • There is a mandatory all staff training on one evening between June 14th through 18th.
